Measures to support accessibility

Friends of Bianca Virnig for school board takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Bianca Virnig:

  • Candidate is a person with a disability. Candidate is also a Certified Accessibility Specialist and a Certified ADA Coordinator who specializes in barrier removal and reasonable accommodations. She is working on improving her knowledge of web accessibility.

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our candidate and volunteers.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Bianca Virnig is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
